The capybara (Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris) is the largest living rodent in the world, native to South America. These semi-aquatic mammals are found throughout Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, and other countries. They're incredibly social animals, often seen in groups of 10-20 individuals!
